Tips For Creating Sexy Wedding Hair

Your wedding hairstyle can make or break your entire wedding look.  Whether you choose to wear your hair up or down, will depend on your style of dress, your headpiece and what you are most comfortable in.  Soft hair is pretty hair and your husband to be should see you in a hairstyle that is recognizable, fun and touchable.  If you don't normally wear your hair in a tied back bun with layers of shellac, chances are your groom doesn't want to see you that way - he wants to see the real you!

You want your wedding hair to be trendy, fun and super sexy.  Your hair can be long, loose and cascading down your shoulders or pulled back and low - but the secret to sexy modern wedding hair is soft touchable texture.  Rumpled waves are all the trend now, think soft curls framing your face and shoulders.  It can be messy and windblown, or perfectly delicate waves - unstructured and carefree.  Use a 1" barrel curling iron and volumizing mousse to seal the curl and direction.  Finish with a sheer hold hairspray with memory to "lock" your look into place without drowning it in heavy gloss.

If you choose to wear your wedding hair in an updo, think a twisted modern textured chignon, sitting low at the nape of your neck.  After blow drying your hair with a round brush, add some curls and waves to it with a 1" curling iron.  Add some pomade to lock the look and form texture.  Gather your hair loosely into a ponytail at ear level, secure it with an elastic band then twist portions of the loose ends clockwise around the band, tucking, sculpting and pinning it as you wrap it around.

Finally, to add some red carpet glamor and glitz to your wedding hair add some sparking pins, barrettes, a comb or a headband to bring a simple sparkle to your hair.
